Distortion + Bitcrusher

Distortion and bit-crushers are fundamental tools in sound processing. Effects like overdrive or fuzz originated in the early rock era and work by overdriving signals. Bitcrushers reduce bit depth and sample rate, making sounds gritty and raw. Both effects are perfect for aggressive, lo-fi, or experimental tones. A variety of approaches are represented here, from tubes and DSP to our old friends at Animal Factory Amplification and Retro Mechanical Labs.
