MadeOnEarth LedRover — Stereo Analog Diode Overdrive with Tilt Filter and Boost
LedRover is a fully analog stereo overdrive built around diode clipping, with enough range to go from mild saturation to hard, compressed distortion. Drive sets how far the circuit is pushed, while a Soft/Hard switch changes the clipping character. Before that sits a 15 dB/oct Tilt Filter, letting you feed more low- or high-frequency content into the distortion stage and shape what gets driven first.
A 10x Boost adds extra level before the filter and overdrive, while separate input and output controls make it easy to keep the surrounding signal chain under control. The unit has stereo ins and outs, with the mono input normalized to both channels. It also has a really nice old-school analog VU meter, which shows the input level in bypass and the output level when the effect is active. LedRover actually started life as an attempt to find the right distortion for a TB-303, but grew into a much more flexible little overdrive box along the way. Simple controls, a broad range of clipping and that glowing VU meter make it a nicely characterful piece of kit without overcomplicating things.
