Mar Karit is an all-tube pedal preamplifier inspired by designs of the 1950s.
It contains 2 tubes, one NOS EF86 for the preamp section and one 6J1P (6ak5) for the buffer output. It is an all-tube Preamp running on a 9V power supply (center positive) and operates at 35volts internally.
The Mar Karit produces a warm, rich, and full-bodied sound, and can capture both the softest and loudest sounds with great accuracy and clarity. Pushed a little too far it can produce pleasing harmonic distortions and warm saturations. The two volume knobs control the level of each stage.

TouellSkouarn was founded in 2010 in Plougastel-Daoulas, near Brest. All modules and stompboxes are named in Breton language (brezhoneg) and are made by hand using discrete high-quality components aimed to distort and scream louder than the ocean waves washing the cliffs on the coast of Brittany, France.
