Multi-effects often combine a curated selection of effects from manufacturers in one device. Sometimes, multiple effects can be used simultaneously, while others offer only one at a time. Devices from Finegear or Endorphin.es allow you to chain several effects together. The small MFX, for example, only offers one at a time, although the selection here is much larger. Multi-effects are perfect for those who don’t want to commit to a specific effect or need a compact do-it-all effect on the go.
