Disposal Instructions for Batteries
Since our deliveries may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following: Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. End consumers are legally obliged to return used batteries.
Used batteries can contain harmful substances which, if not stored or disposed of properly, may harm the environment or your health. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled.
After use, you can return the batteries free of charge either to us or to a collection point in your immediate vicinity (e.g. in retail stores, at local collection points or in our warehouse). The return of batteries to points of sale is limited to standard end-user quantities and to such used batteries which the distributor has or had in their product range as new batteries.
