RYK Modular Side FX — Quad Algorithmic Effects Processor with Flexible Signal Routing and CV Modulation
Side FX from RYK Modular is a quad algorithmic effects processor that lets you combine up to four effects blocks in different serial and parallel configurations. With seven different routing algorithms and a selection of effects ranging from delays, reverbs and pitch shifting to granular processing, glitch effects and waveshaping, there's simply a lot in here. There's also a dual-mono configuration for running two separate chains of two effects.
The module comes with a collection of preset effects chains, but you can also create your own and save them to the internal SD card. Four assignable CV inputs are available for modulating any parameter, MIDI and an external clock input provide plenty of ways to control and synchronise the effects, while internal LFOs, random modulation and an envelope follower can keep things moving without having to rely on additional utility modules. Each effects block also has a send function that can be activated manually or via CV, allowing you to bring effects in and out as you play. Lots of effects to work with here, and plenty of ways to combine them.
