Video Synthesis

Video synthesis is used to generate electronic video signals in the form of static or moving images. Just like synthesizer modules, Eurorack-format video modules serve different functions. Pattern generators are complemented by a variety of image processing modules, allowing for scaling (aspect ratios, colors, etc.), mirroring, and distortion. It’s even possible to use visual material directly from cameras or playback devices to play with.. Additionally, there are interfaces that allow video synthesis voltages to be scaled so that video material can be processed with audio effects and then fed back into the video synthesis.
