Syntonie Supervision — Power Distribution, Composite Video Input and Sync Routing for Video Eurorack
A cleverly equipped utility module for video Eurorack systems, combining 12 V power distribution, composite video input and sync routing in one convenient package.
Supervision takes power from a front-panel DC socket and distributes it to 18 rear barrel connectors for compatible video modules. A front-panel RCA input brings external composite video into your rack, restoring and scaling it to a 1 V signal on a front minijack. A buffered copy also appears on a rear RCA output, handy for feeding the sync input of an encoder such as Syntonie’s Sortie. The two front-panel RCA outputs share a source switch: set to front, they carry the incoming video; set to rear, they pass on the system sync signal from a rear RCA input, making it easy to synchronise another system or device. A tidy solution to several practical problems in one module, complete with a 12 V power adapter and six DC cables!
