Videomancer is a hardware video processor built for hands-on visual performance. It's designed like an instrument: big macro controls for Time, Space, and Slope sit front and center, eleven effect buttons let you punch effects in and out like drum pads, and a long-throw crossfader lets you morph between settings. Load programs that blur, glitch, colorize, key, posterize, and distort your video sources, then modulate any parameter with audio or CV signals from your modular setup.

The engine runs on an FPGA, which delivers next to zero latency — critical when you're syncing visuals to live audio. This hardware-level approach gives you both precision (10-bit color processing) and character. The I/O is comprehensive: HDMI for modern gear, composite and component for vintage sources, and 1V DC-coupled RGB for modular video systems. Everything converts seamlessly between formats, and you control it all via the front panel, MIDI, or incoming CV.

There's a built-in motion system which acts as your animation engine. Tap tempo to lock movement to a beat, let things drift freely, or gate effects rhythmically with the buttons. When you land on something good you can save the entire configuration as a 'state' and recall it instantly during your set, which is terrific for structuring performances or snapping back from some beautiful chaos. The SELECT encoder, together with the screen, makes navigation super quick without breaking your flow, while those dedicated macro knobs keep the big moves right under your fingers.
