Nocturnal consists of three sections: Dusk → Night → Dawn. In plain English: Delay, followed by tremolo, marinated in shimmer reverb. It’s not hard to imagine the results: atmospheric, glittering, eternally long and far away, sometimes warm, sometimes cold, and always like a dream.
Dusk, the delay, has all the necessary parameters to move from classic echoes to space-time shifts. Dry/Wet mix, feedback, and delay time with modulation. After the delay comes night, a dynamic tremolo, aka moderate amplitude modulation. Depth controls the intensity, and Sensibility allows it to react to the transients of the input signal. Topped off by the reverb, Dawn. Here too, there is a Dry/Wet mix, along with reverb time, a low-pass filter, and shimmer for that extra glitter.
All three effects have a footswitch that activates a special mode when held down. The Dusk delay goes into self-oscillation, the Night tremolo speeds up, and the Dawn reverb switches off and fades out (like a bypass).
A great effect pedal that wraps around you like a warm ambient blanket.
