Bitcrushers

Bitcrushers and sample rate reduction are fantastic effects for crushing audio signals. Often overshadowed by standard distortion effects, they should not be underestimated! Bit Crushers digitize analog voltages and limit dynamic resolution (bitrate). Sample rate reduction (SRR) reduces the temporal resolution. The result: artifacts, overtones, and delightfully gritty distortion, whether subtle or destructive!
