XAOC Devices Gera is a component of the Leibniz subsystem and manipulates the bits in its data stream.
Individual bits of the digital data within the Leibniz subsystem are masked by logical AND-operations, which e.g. in interaction with the XAOC Devices Drezno leads to different forms of quantization and sounds sometimes more and sometimes less intense. The data stream can be influenced via eight illuminated gate inputs; the same number of illuminated switches allow the manual inverting of bits of any signal applied to the CV inputs.
Since the bit processing logic in Gera is hardware-based, everything happens almost latency-free and can proceed at extreme speed, providing surprising results.
