Quantizers

Quantizers constrain CV voltages to a fixed grid. A smooth sine wave from an LFO is transformed into a stepped voltage. They are primarily used to create voltages for oscillators to fit within a scale. This makes precise melodies easy to achieve. They work especially well after a sequencer, as its knobs are often imprecise. They’re also great companions for Sample & Hold stages!
