Acid Rain Technology's Ziggurat — Quad Quantizer and Step Sequencer in One
Ziggurat by Acid Rain Technology is a quad voltage quantizer for Eurorack. Four independent channels take whatever CVs and gates you throw at them and turn those into musically coherent pitch voltages. The keyboard-style interface makes it quick to define which notes you want active — pick your scale, adjust per channel, and you're set.
Beyond simply just quantizing, Ziggurat has a few other tricks worth mentioning. Any channel you don't need for quantizing duty can be switched into Chain mode, where you punch in a sequence of notes and advance through them with a gate signal — think SH-101 sequencer logic. Slew can be dialed in per note for smooth glides between pitches. Channels are linkable for when you want several voices following the same rules, and there's a Mod CV input that can be routed to parameters like root, offset, range, or slew. Thirty-five save slots across five banks keep your setups organized and recallable.
Ziggurat is a great quantizer that also doubles as a surprisingly capable little sequencer when the occasion calls for it.
