Punk from Feedback Modules is a compact module which manages to blend two types of distortion in the space of just 6HP. Despite its size it is capable of adding some serious grit to whatever you run through it.

The first flavor at your disposal is a FET preamp based on a circuit from a mixer/cassette recorder combo from the 80s. The second one is more of a classic guitar pedal fuzz distortion deal. In this circuit you have the option to switch between Diode or MOSFET distortion. Both types of distortion have their own gain controls which allows you to use them separately or blend them together to taste.

After you’ve mangled your sound through the distortion circuits, the remainder is siphoned through a two-band Baxandall EQ. It comes with controls for low and high frequencies – the same ones found on their PRE-KM module. Fun fact - Baxendall EQ’s are shelving EQ’s invented in the 1950s that you might already have come across in your stereo amplifier at home. They use a very wide and gentle Q-factor and are known to be really transparent and musical + the phase shift is greatly reduced in comparison to regular parametric EQ shelves. Great at simple tone shaping in other words!

Enough with the history lessons – we’ve reached the bottom end of the module. Here you’ll find some much needed basics, an input level control + a mix/blend control. They do exactly what they're supposed to, nobody is left guessing here.
