Cosmotronic took their popular Messor Eurorack module and reimagined it as a pedal. Running on internal ±12V rails, this analog stereo compressor handles both line-level studio signals and hot Eurorack levels without flinching. The 16dB preamp sits ready at the input, followed by familiar compressor controls: threshold, ratio, attack, release, and makeup gain. A switchable sidechain filter (LP or HP) lets you focus the compression where you need it, while an external sidechain input opens the door to classic kick-ducking techniques.
The ratio control can push past limiting into over-compression territory, reshaping transients in ways that might feel more like sound design than classic dynamics processing. A wet/dry blend gives you parallel compression options, and true bypass keeps your signal pristine when the pedal's out of the loop. LEDs track your input, output, and gain reduction, so you always know what's happening under the hood.
Messor handles everything from gluing a mix together to sculpting drum transients to mangling synth patches into new shapes. Works equally well on your pedalboard, in your studio, or to handle compression duties for your modular system — a proper versatile crossover tool with premium build quality!
