LPZW.modules WK7 — Tiny Dual VCA With a Couple of Smart Routing Tricks up Its Sleeve
The WK7 gives you two linear VCAs in just 2hp, with internal connections that create extra functions. There's a transparent illuminated knob that can show what's happening — red for VCA1, blue for VCA2, purple when both are active. There are also normalled connections to be aware of: Input 1 feeds into input 2 when nothing's patched there, and output 1 mixes with output 2 automatically.
Another nice thing is the CV routing: when you control VCA 1, it also controls VCA 2 in reverse. This lets you crossfade between two signals using one knob or CV source. Patch two oscillators and fade smoothly between them, or use it for panning and ducking effects. So tiny, but still able to provide four different utility functions—space well spent!
