The CANON by Larix enables the classic canon effect between two voices in your system.
This means: A musical theme played by the first voice is repeated and developed further by a second voice with a time delay. The delayed musical theme always remains in sync with the incoming clock signal.
In a modular context, the module functions as a delay for one CV and one gate signal each (with an expansion, it can also handle a second CV) - not for audio. The delay can be up to 16 steps. The number of delay steps is controlled via a knob or CV - this is where things get creative fast!
For more flexibility, there are two additional functions: Reset (RST) clears the memory to interrupt running sequences, and Enable (EN) freezes the current state - the module then functions as a 16-step sequence memory that simply loops. A clock, CV, and gate signal are required, the outputs provide the delayed signals.
