Patchulator Pro
Everyone knows them, everyone needs them, everyone dislikes handling them - patchbays! Don't want to muddle thorugh thousands of cables to connect your effects units, audio interfaces and synth or modular gear anymore? That's where Patchulator Pro comes in, presenting itself as a contemporary approach to patchbay that starts with a slim foot to make signal routing in your studio more transparent and intuitive.
Patchulator Pro gives you ten discrete send/return channels for connecting instruments, effects units and/or effects pedals. In addition, there's a dedicated Main I/O instrument channel that provides quick access to one of two selectable effects chains (A/B) or the dry signal (center position) via the Output Source slider. Of course, the other channels of the patchbay can also be used for instrument tapping if the need arises. For intuitive patching/routing, 1.4" jacks are provided on the rear panel and 3.5mm jacks on the top panel. All connectors are TRS formatted for maximum compatibility with TS, balanced TRS and stereo TRS connections in the signal path. Stereo applications can thus be realized with Patchulator Pro using one channel instead of sacrificing two channels.
After connecting the input signal, it is also available at 2 RCV patch points (multiples). With the signal copies available in this way, it is possible to create separate effect chains. With the help of the included 12 two-color patch cables, your patching will also look tidy in terms of color. On top of that, the device is a useful addition to its predecessor and can provide more channels, for example to be able to patch CV signals in addition to audio signals.
