Choreograph your sound with BlaknBlu's Foxtrot Quad Filter Module.
Foxtrot by BlaknBlu is a solid quad multimode filter module. With its metal front plate and sturdy construction, this module is built to last—no flimsy parts here!
Each of the four channels in the Foxtrot can switch between a Moog-inspired ladder filter, a Sallen-and-Key filter based on the Korg MS-20, and a state variable filter reminiscent of the Oberheim SEM. You can morph between low pass, band pass, and high pass responses using the front panel control or CV input making this unit extremely flexible.
Linking the filters together creates a parallel filter bank, all controlled by a single cut-off knob or CV. This makes it easy to craft complex, sweeping sounds. The AUX CV input can be set to control filter response, resonance, or panning, giving you loads of options on how you want to shape your sound. The overdrive function adds extra grit, enhancing the unique characteristics of each filter type and - by using the panning - the dual outputs on each channel allow for rich stereo-filtered effects.
Just one of these channels offers a really versatile set of filter functions - but remember, you get 4 of those in one module! Worth noting is that all this flexibility is made possible by Foxtrot being a digital filter module.
