WMD - Performance Mixer MKII

The mighty performance mixer by WMD reaches its second iteration with the MKII version.

The WMD Performance Mixer MKII takes everything that made its predecessor so popular and makes it even better. Each channel can now be used in stereo or dual mono. In dual-mono mode, the pan control becomes a crossfader. The two AUX sends and returns are now in stereo and there is an additional stereo bus for submixes or effects. The background noise has been significantly reduced. Perhaps the most practical new feature is the patchbay on the left-hand side of the module, which significantly improves the operation of the module. Another good solution: the modular design of the channel strips means that any defective channel can be easily replaced.

The Performance Mixer would certainly have the wrong name if it weren't for the click-free mute buttons, for example. This makes it very easy to create breakdowns and transitions. The special cue mix allows you to preview individual channels without affecting the main output - just like classic DJ cues. The group button can be used to mute several channels simultaneously - ideal for live situations.

The master output is a balanced jack output that is ideal for connecting to professional audio systems. There are CV inputs for level, panning and AUX sends. The direct outputs can be pre- or post-fader, giving you the flexibility to decide how you want to route your signals.

One outstanding feature is the MIDI output. The new MKII has MIDI support with MIDI CC output for pan, level, AUX1 and AUX2. This allows you to record your mix in your DAW.

Thanks to the option of connecting additional expanders, the Performance Mixer MKII can be equipped with a whopping 24 channels! This makes the MKII perfect for modular artists with large systems or for anyone who wants to remain flexible.
