Kraken is the latest of the WMD drum modules and is entirely dedicated to snare drums. 32 different shell models, different distortion types and noise algorithms as well as a pitch shifter, provide a wide range of possible snares. Some of the parameters (pitch, shell, overtone and decay, head/rim) are dependent on each other, creating more coherent physical imitations. Velocity and Accent inputs allow a very dynamic intervention in decay time, noise level and volume and make the results very lively.
