Vongon - Polyphrase

Lose yourself in the endless repeats of Polyphrase, a stereo delay and looper pedal from Vongon.

Polyphrase takes its cue from a vintage FX unit, as do all the devices from the Californian manufacturer Vongon. In this case the reference point is the Lexicon Prime Time. The high-quality wooden side panels, together with beautiful poti caps and faders immediately invite you to enjoy. Two individual Delay Time parameters for left and right allow for quick and playable changes of the created rhythms. The Time parameter shifts both at once. There are three different delay modes, dual stereo, ping pong and a mono mode which routes the feedback to the IN R and OUT R jacks. This enables you to include external effects to give your echoes a different character. Furthermore there are two modulation effects. The Depth parameter lets you select and control the intensity of these. When turned counterclockwise, the pitch of the feedback is modulated with a sine wave. This sounds like a chorus or vibrato. With clockwise rotation, a random voltage modulates the pitch, which then resembles an old tape.

Another feature is an integrated filter, which can act in a lowpass and highpass fashion, as well as a MIDI input.

Polyphrase can also function as a looper. This means it is possible to record multiple layers, with a length of up to 22 seconds.
