Tubbutec - TRS-Bridge
- Order number: 230418
- Depth: 21
The Tubbutec TRS-Bridge is precision work: A 4x4 MIDI-TRS router/merger for the Eurorack with low latency and advanced features.
"Everything to everything" is the motto of the TRS-Bridge. The four TRS-MIDI inputs and outputs can be routed to each other, so that any one output can receive MIDI information from the "other side". Several inputs can be routed to one output and vice versa. Splitting or merging is of course also possible, and changes can be made in no time via the user interface. The MIDI streams are displayed in different colors depending on the type (Note/CC, Clock, Sysex). Up to eight routing settings can be stored. TRS-A and TRS-B formats are automatically detected on the input side, and the corresponding format (A or B) can be selected on the output side. That way TRS-Bridge can also convert between the two formats.
TRS Bridge has an extremely low latency of 30µS between input and output. Clock latency "edge to edge" is 250µS (220µS clock message length + 30µS latency).
Features:
- 4x TRS-MIDI In / Out
- Route, split and merge MIDI information
- Independent "MIDI flow" color schemes for Note/CC (red), Clock (blue) and Sysex (yellow)
- LED-Brightness adjustable
- 8 memory locations
- Converts TRS A and TRS B format
- Auto Restart: prevents out-of-phase MIDI clock when changing clock source
- Sysex Buffer: allows for seamless merging of sysex data by buffering it
- Very low latency

Berlin-based Tobias Münzer is the mastermind behind Tubbutec, who not only provides retro-fits for vintage synths (Roland Juno-6, SH-101, etc.), but impressed with his microtonal modular multitool µTune, which among other gazillion functions is capable of reading and writing Scala .scl files.
