Portail MIDI/CV Interface
Besides "classic" and polyphonic CV/gate outputs, Portail can also be used to create drum stacks for triggering with successive gates, or dynamic gates where the gate level reacts to velocity. In addition, it is possible to output MIDI clock signals, internal envelopes and LFOs, for example, whose division and/or parameters can be controlled via MIDI CC. Different filters (e.g. Gate Probability or Scale Quantizer) can be added.
There is an integrated editor, with which Portail can be adapted to various needs and applications. Here, MIDI Learn assignments can be configured or the different user or factory presets can be recalled. A web editor (currently under development) will allow for a more precise configuration of the Eowave units in the future. The module connects to your gear either via USB-C or MIDI-TRS.
