Tobinski - Sequencer

The Tobinski Sequencer is a versatile and experimental module for producing wonderfully creative and complex sequences.

Sequencer outputs 8 CV sequences and 6 gate sequences and is very easy to play despite its complexity. Thanks to its direct operability and flexible control options, you are sure to keep coming up with new ideas when playing with the Sequencer. The module itself already promises a lot, but with the separately available expander, the possibilities are significantly expanded. But now to the details.

The Tobinski Sequencer has two banks with eight voltage faders each, which are controlled by two independent 8-step sequencers. An integrated clock source provides the timing, and various control options such as start, stop and step buttons as well as CV inputs offer precise control over timing and synchronisation with other modules in your system. Of particular note are the CV outputs, which combine the voltage outputs of the four sequencers to create particularly complex sequences.

Each of the four sequencers in the Tobinski module has its own controls for loop start and loop end, a direction switch for forward and reverse as well as ON/OFF/SLIDE switches for each step. The separate voltage and gate outputs for each sequence enable a wide variety of sequences - or - and this is where it gets very interesting again: because Sequencer is analogue, the module can also be operated at audio rate - making wave sequencing possible. This means that you can shape the waveform at the outputs very flexibly and finely and thus change the timbre!
