The VCF/VCA 6 is a modern reinterpretation of the LP/HP Filter and VCA section of the Roland 60/106.
The signal path of the module is composed as follows:
Dual channel mixer -> VCF -> VCA -> HPF
At the bottom left are the controls for the mixer and the LDC toggle switch, which can be used to switch on volume compensation at high resonance settings. Next to the mixer, you will find the controls for the VCA and the high-pass filter. The cutoff frequency of the HP filter can be adjusted via a four-position switch and is not CV-controllable. The core of the module is the LP-VCF section consisting of a voltage controlled 2/4 pole low pass filter with a total of three CV inputs for cutoff control (FM1 can also be inverted) and CV input for resonance. The VCA is based on an OTA circuit and gives the whole module additional vintage character.
