Serge Modular - VC Resonant EQ

The fantastic Serge Resonant EQ is now available in voltage controllable form - for formant sounds, nice percussion and much more!

The Resonant EQ is a unique sounding filter with ten bands, which are now voltage-controllable in this VC version.

The frequency bands are chosen with utmost care. The Frequencies of the bands was chosen to mimic the formant-peaks and valleys of acoustic instruments. They are spaced over the interval of a major seventh. That way it is avoided that a certain tonality is emphasized. The bands can become resonant if you set the knob past 3pm or apply suitable CV. Hence the name: VC Resonant EQ. Each band has its own CV input with attenuverter, as well as its own audio output! This is a very powerful feature which lets you process each band individually. Thus, you can give a simple sawtooth a completely new appearance.
Tip: Send rhythms in the form of triggers or envelopes or oscillators to the CV inputs!

The VC Res EQ has been available in 4U Serge format for quite some time. Same as in 4U a mixer with feedback is integrated. Finally, in addition to the individual band outputs, there are 4 combined outputs. Two Comb outputs, each outputting the left or right bands, and two Main outputs, which output all bands collectively.
