Radikal Technologies - RT-1701 EFFEXX

The RT-1701 Effexx is composed of a stereo gain stage with overdrive, an equalizer / filter section, two multi effects and a reverb. The multi effects offer two types of echo, chorus, phaser and flanger as well as rotary, pitch shifter and Karplus Strong algorithms. Configurations can be saved as so-called snapshots. A morph function makes it possible to crossfade smoothly from one memory slot to another via an internal LFO or an external CV signal. The Karplus Strong algorithm can be played tonally.

The RT-1701 Effexx comes equipped with the following stereo stages:

• Input section with overdrive circuit
• Equalizer respectively filter section with eight modes of operation
• Two multi effects, each featuring eight algorithms:
• Delay
• Tempo Delay
• Chorus
• Phaser
• Flanger
• Rotor
• Pitch Shifter
• String Filter (Karplus-Strong)
• Reverb

In use, the RT-1701 shines with high-resolution sound. Its delay algorithms can be utilized to create atmospheric echo effects as well as tonal sound colorations. Chorus, phaser and flanger have a very lively character. The reverb processor delivers room simulations in studio quality. The Karplus Strong algorithm is controllable via 1V / octave. Therefore, users can play the module like an oscillator.
