Muta Jovis is a clever solution for muting signals. It was designed with trigger and gate voltages in mind. At first glance, it isn’t visible, but behind the front panel you’ll find one or two quite interesting innovations.
Muta Jovis features four channels. Each signal path comes equipped with an input, a mute switch plus activity LED and an output. – A pretty ordinary setup for a quad muting stage. Not so common are the module’s normalizations. A single input signal can be send to up to four outputs. The switch of the input channel mutes all out connectors. LEDs visualize which sockets are currently emitting signals. Alternatively to active operation, it is also possible to use Muta Jovis as a passive circuit. This way, you can save power and the module doesn't occupy a connector on your bus board. The only restriction: You have to do without the LEDs.
