Fractio Solum is a CV-controlled clock divider/multiplier.
The display shows the currently set clock ratio. For example, if ¾ is displayed, three triggers are output for all four incoming triggers. The Out output will then have exactly this ratio. X2 outputs twice the number of triggers and /2 outputs half.
With the Ratio button/encoder, the divider/multiplier can be set by turning the encoder and a mute can be triggered or stopped by pressing the button.
The 1-23-N/M switch is used to choose between three lists of ratios.
1: 1/x or x/1. X can be any integer between 1 and 16.
23: Removes all divisors that have factors that are neither in the numerator nor in the denominator 2 or 3.
N/M: Any fraction with numerators/denominators equal to or smaller than 10. All unusual divisions and multiplications can be found here.
