The CLRS module by Modbap is a dynamic stereo multi-effect for hands-on end of chain audio processing.
At the core of CLRS is a performable DJ-style filter, featuring both high-pass and low-pass filters controlled by a single large knob. With the low-pass filter on the left and the high-pass filter on the right (use the Shift button to adjust resonance). This configuration is nice to perform with or to quickly adjust the frequencies of that stereo you send through CLRS to make room for something else.
The following effects all feature their own controls (no menus or button combos!) and help you to add some character and depth to your signal. The Drive effect ranges from subtle saturation to gritty distortion. With the added stereo width control, you have precise control over the width of your stereo field, allowing you to explore the spatial aspects of your audio in greater detail.
The second effect is called Mag and it is a combination of tape saturation and tape distortion to add a touch of the qualities of analog tape recordings. A very nice effect and absolutely powerful to add something special to the sound you process.
The third effect – Lofi – is a classic digital effect that we think is absolutely necessary to achieve a vintage lo-fi aesthetic. reducing the sample rate, the "Lofi" knob emulates the characteristics of lower-quality audio recordings or older digital devices.
To give your sound the final touch and add more presence, you’ll find the one-knob compressor (with a 3-way switch for ratio control) at the end of the effects chain. Handy to simply control dynamics, but also good to really mess with the sounds you send through. To spice things up there is a Duck input with which you can simulate side chain compression or whatever idea you come up with.
