The LVX is something of a masterpiece from Meris. It is packed with features: 99 preset slots, a sleek screen, and a completely open architecture to build entirely new and custom delay structures. The algorithms are based on Meris classics like the Polymoon, Hedra, Enzo, and Mercury7, but also offer completely new structures such as granular, BBD, or tape delays. With a loop time of 60 seconds and full MIDI support, you get a modern and powerful package.
The highlight is the modular design: you can place various sound processors like filters, preamps, pitch, or modulation at different points in the signal path, whether in the feedback loop or before it. This makes the LVX extremely modular and flexible. Thanks to the switchable input levels, LVX deals wonderfully with line and those hot synthesizer levels.
