Manifold Research Centre - Delta^
- Order number: 230528
The Delta^ module by Manifold Research Centre is a slick and playful LFO and gate generator for Eurorack systems.
Delta^'s main component are the 9 keyboard keys. The upper 3 are responsible for control voltages and the lower 6 for gates. Intended for polyphonic applications, Delta^ certainly can be at home in any system.
The control voltages are unipolar LFOs (0-5V) with variable waveforms from sawtooth over triangle to ramp.
The 6 gate channels function like clock dividers. There is an internal clock, but it can be replaced by an external signal. You can press one of the buttons in tap-tempo style to adjust the rate of the gates. This way you can create various divisions and multiplications in no time and also change them by the X parameter (Divider/Multiplier). The gate length (and also the LFO wave) is changed by the f parameter and with the ⌀ parameter you can shift the gates and LFOs in phase. The parameter settings are quickly made by holding down the desired button and then changing the parameter.
It is possible to save presets, copy channels and use external CVs to control the parameters! In addition to a random function, Manifold Research Centre has also included an exciting "Gravitational Mode". This causes cross-modulations (XOR) between channels, which means things can get pretty wild pretty quickly.
Features:
3 channels for CVs (0-5V)
LFO waves are sawtooth, triangle, ramp
6 channels for gates
Clock divider
3 parameters to edit channels
CV inputs for all three parameters
Random and Gravitational mode
LEDs show parameter values
