Magerit Kairos — Eight Independently Programmable CV Outputs, Hybrid Sequencer, Waveform Designer & MIDI-to-CV
Magerit Kairos is a multi-output CV controller for Eurorack, each one freely configurable — clock signals for your sequencers, shaped waveforms for modulation, trigger patterns for your drums, or MIDI-to-CV conversion from your DAW or keyboard via USB-C. Need to automate a filter cutoff on one channel while another runs euclidean triggers and a third plays quantized melodies from a MIDI keyboard? All at the same time, all from this one module. The amount of control you get from this 11HP module is pretty insane.
The waveform designer covers the basics — pulses, sines, triangles, clocks — and then keeps going with exponential curves, Bézier curves and random generators. All of these can be further twisted through modifiers like phase shift, delay, smoothing, crossover mixing between channels and a built-in quantizer. The hybrid sequencer combines step and euclidean approaches, with subdivisions down to sixteenth notes, per-channel ratios, direction changes, and a CV input that lets you automate sequencer parameters on the fly. Channels can be linked, and configurations are stored across 32+32 patch slots (32 slots for waveforms and another 32 for sequences). Polyphonic MIDI allocation and an arpeggiator round out the MIDI side of things.
The circular full-color display makes for some really nice visuals, but it's also super useful to work with — all eight channels visible as concentric rings, real-time waveform previews, two encoders and two buttons, everything at a glance. No hidden menus, no digging. This is a compact, well-considered control center — clocks, LFOs, sequences, MIDI, quantized pitch CV — all from a single source, to control racks of any size.
