The concept draws from drumming, where fills bridge musical sections or add emphasis between phrases. DeFeel takes your existing gate and CV patterns and mangles them into syncopated variations in real-time. You interact directly with the touchscreen, drawing vectors and lines that translate into rhythmic manipulations. The XY pad mode turns finger gestures into expressive control over timing and modulation.
Two independent channels handle the processing, each capable of generating complex polyrhythmic relationships from simple inputs.
