Clever 3-Channel Knob Recorder, LFO, and Random Generator
Krait is a small but comprehensive modulation source with three main functions and three channels. Each channel can be used independently of the other channels in one of the three modes - with all three channels following the clock/reset inputs.
- In Knob Recorder mode, Krait can record, playback and overwrite loops up to 8 bars long.
- In LFO mode, various waveforms and phase offsets can be continuously adjusted. The LFOs can oscillate freely or be synchronized to the clock.
- In Random mode, clock-synchronized random values can be generated, portamentoed, and looped over 16 steps.
As a little extra, Krait can also be used as a 2-channel mixer and thanks to upcoming firmware updates, more features are probably to be expected.
The settings are always stored and are available after power off/on.
