apf.audio Eurorack-PMOD — Expander For Tiliqua, Audio I/O For Anything Else With A PMOD Port. The Bit That Gets Your FPGA Talking To The Rest Of Your Rack
The Eurorack-PMOD gives Tiliqua four extra DC-coupled ins and four outs — or, connected to any compatible FPGA board, it becomes the analogue front end that lets that board speak Eurorack in the first place. PMOD is simply an open connector standard found on most FPGA development boards, so this hooks up with a ribbon cable and the rest is down to your own code. All eight channels handle audio or CV up to 192kHz/32-bit, and whatever jacks you're not using double up as touch and proximity sensors. A great starting point for anyone building FPGA-based modules — the jacks and converters are sorted, the rest is yours to write.
