Soft Start works as advertised. The adapter module delays the start-up of the 12 V rail. – Useful for modules which draw high current on power up.
Soft Start is an inline buffer circuit, which can be placed between the power supply and a module. It delays the power going to the 12 V rail by 400 milliseconds. The adapter can handle up to 500 mA. The 5 V rail is not delayed. CV and gate signals coming from the bus board are passed through. The adapter is reverse polarity protected.
