You might have already heard, that we like to recommend Weston Precision Audio. The SE1 is an envelope for creating advanced waveforms. There are the classic ADSR stages, all of which are individually CV controllable. Furthermore, there are separate switches for attack, decay and sustain to select the curve behavior. Exponential, linear and logarithmic are available here and allow you to create very interesting movements.

Each of the stages has a state output, which sends a gate when a stage is active. Great for initiating further events in the system.

The sustain stage has an additional CV input instead of a switch. This input is for a VCA, which controls the intensity of the signal at the sustain CV input. This means that you can send the craziest modulations to the sustain CV input and then influence them with envelopes or similar. A truly unique function! Of course, the envelope can also be looped, so you could also use the module as an multi-stage-LFO/oscillator.

The SE1 comes in the usual high Weston quality. It works with all VCAs/LPGs and adapts to all usecases. This is probably the single-envelope you have been searching for.
