Here's something quite unique in our assortment. The drum pad scene may not be our biggest audience, but for those of you who work with them - this module is for YOU!

The 2Z from Vaski is a really well-designed dual-zone drum trigger module that lets you connect drum pads directly to your eurorack setup. You can use it with any piezo microphone drum pads. This module allows you to connect two zones of a drum pad, so you can hit different parts of the pad and get separate signals for each zone.

Setup couldn’t be easier - just plug in your drum pad or mic, turn the sensitivity knob until you filter out any noise from the rest of your kit to ignore accidental hits, et voilà - you should be good to go!

Crosstalk removal ensures that only the zone you hit will trigger, one zone at a time.

The module features both trig and velocity outs for each drum zone. The trig outputs send out a short pulse once the zone is hit. The velocity outputs — as the name implies — a value derived from the velocity of your hits.

You also get two delay-compensated audio outputs directly from the piezo microphones, inviting you to use this signal for further audio processing. All of this in 12-bit sampling glory :)
