Teia Synthesizers DriftLog — Dual Loopable Random Voltage Generator with Shapeable Transitions, Probability and Per-Channel Lock
DriftLog is a dual-channel random voltage generator. Both its channels run at the same time, and both record themselves as they go. You can let them wander freely, or catch a stretch you like and replay it as a loop. Start and Length move the playback window while it runs, so a passing bit of chaos can become a repeating phrase — but where you can still slide and resize the looping sequence as it plays.
Clock, Slope, Shape and Probability are shared by both channels, but each side has its own Lock button. Dial a slow, rounded movement into channel A and lock it. The same knobs are then free to make different adjustments to channel B. Slope travels from abrupt steps to continuous glides. Shape bends those glides, and a three-position switch chooses the type of curve want: arc/peak, exponential, or Bezier. Probability decides how often a new value lands on a given step, and Swing loosens the timing further.
There's also shift button which opens a second layer, with the alternate functions printed in gold below the main labels: per-channel offset, gate/trigger selection, manual reset and the global Swing. An external clock is detected automatically. Next to the two voltage outputs at the bottom, there is a logic output per channel and a clock out.
DriftLog sits somewhere between a random source, a CV looper and a rather unruly two-channel sequencer. It offers a great way to make randomness repeatable without making it predictable.
