Rabid Elephant - Nexus Seq

Rabid Elephant's Nexus is an instantaneous, immediate, playful sequencing instrument.

With Nexus Seq Rabid Elephant's focus is on immediate playability. There are no menus and screens. Rabid Elephant thought deeply about how sequences are generated and how you (want to) interact with them.

The module has the two sequencer pairs MN and PQ. You can select CV values using the potentiometers and then play them using the large buttons below. Think of a sequence as a set of different states which you can browse through. You can enter steps "live" or "step by step". And then you can chain, double, divide, transpose them. A center piece of Nexus approach is to have the sequencers interact with each other.

Double the length of the sequence? Easy! And then double it again? Just as easy! In total, patterns with lengths of up to 4096 steps are possible, allowing you to create entire song structures, which can then be saved in one of the 9 presets. Both sequencers have their own clock and rest inputs, which means that strange polyrhythms or even polymeters are possible.

Nexus Seq is a true modular-jam-sequencer. Quite quickly you will fly through your seuqences and unlock the power of Nexus/NXS. With the NSX expander, Nexus Seq is extended by four corresponding gate outputs!
