The Stolperbeats by Making Sound Machines is THE tool for your wonky-hip-hop-beat-need.
The innovative and exciting Stolperbeats was presented at Superbooth 22 and is finally coming to our shelves. It is intended as a trigger sequencer for kick, snare, two hats and two percussion instruments. Of course you can send the triggers wherever you want...this is Eurorack after all. The exciting thing about Stolperbeats are the groove modes: Dilla, Shake, Push and Clave. With these you get different flavors of hip-hop push-and-pull trigger sequences, from light swingy shifts, to heavily shifted stumbling/stolpernden (hence the name...) beats. You can switch between these modes with CV, of course, and it's all clearly illustrated with the great-looking LEDs. There's also the Linear mode, which does nothing more than only allowing one instrument to play at a time. This can be de-/activated with CV and if you want to control even more complex CV matters there is a CV expander with which the mutes are controllable.
