Make Noise - PRSS PNT
- Order number: 240206
- Depth: 30
You want to get back in touch with your music? PRSS PNT is a single-channel controller derived from the Make Noise classic Pressure Points.
Pressure Points is a controller that already finds a home in many Eurorack systems. PRSS PNT adopts its concept but reduces the number of channels from 4 to 1 to either expand your Pressure Points or greatly fill a small gap.
PRSS PNT generates control voltages and gates through pressure on its copper contacts. There are two CV and two gate outputs each. The gates happen on touch and are momentary or latched (meaning on/off until the next press). The control voltages are generated from the pressure intensity. There's a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment and a slew to let gates decay.
The copper contacts create a flow of current through your body. This is of course harmless but closes a circuit, thus generating the aforementioned CVs and gates. PRESS PNT can be used independently of Pressure Points!
Features:
- Momentary gate output stays high as long as it's pressed
- The toggle gate output switches high and low with each contact press
- The pressure output generates a positive control signal proportional to the pressure exerted, influenced by the sensitivity control
- Increasing the slew value allows for manual generation of long decay behavior
- All four outputs are available simultaneously

Already interested in electronics at the early age of 12, Tony Rolando learned everything about circuits and musical instrument design by himself. He worked for Moog Music for a while and some sabbatical years, he founded Make Noise in 2008 in Asheville, North Carolina. By now, his reinterpretation of the Serge DUSG, Maths, is probably the most ubiquitous module in the eurorack universe ever. Make Noise continues to surprise with new and inspiring modules, including collaborations with Tom Erbe of Soundhack.
