Mixup is a compact audio mixer in proven Intellijel quality. The module features two mono and two stereo channel strips. Most audio paths feature level potentiometers and mute switches. Several Mixups can be linked to form a large mixing system. – This mixer can thus grow with your modular setup.
Mixup features a total of four channel strips, which are divided as follows:
- Two mono channel strips with mute switch and level attenuator
- One stereo channel strip with mute switch and level attenuator
- One stereo channel strip with unity gain
The inputs of the stereo channels are normalized, meaning the left socket can be used as a mono input as well. An LED indicates clipping in the master channels. Mix signals are emitted via left and right output.
The Mixup circuits are AC-coupled and thus tailored to process audio material. The master channels of two or more modules can be linked via connectors on the circuit boards. – Therefore, channel strips are not getting blocked when combining several Mixups.

Danjel van Tijn started in eurorack with the Mind Meld, an expander for the Livewire Vulcan Modulator. Seeing the potential of eurorack, Danjiel quit his day job at a big corporation and founded Intellijel, which rapidly become a mainstay in the modular, with collaborations with Canadian fellow engineers such as: Cylonix, David G. Nixon or AAS (known for their physical modelling plug-ins). By now Intellijel has one of the most extensive catalogs in eurorack.
