The CV output sockets on Elektron's Analog Four and Analog Keys machines emit two control voltages simultaneously but if you want to use the CVs with your Eurorack system it's almost impossible to find correct adaptor cables (1/4" TRS to 2x 3,5mm TS insert cables). Here the Synapse module comes into play: It provides for this format conversion and displays signals with bicolor-LEDs.
Set-up and operation is pretty simple: grab two 1/4" TRS cables and connect the Analog Four/Keys's CV AB output with the CV:AB input at the Synapse module. Same with the "C&D" signals.
All four CVs are available now at individual 3,5mm sockets. Bi-color LEDs display the amplitude and polarity of the signal (green = positive, red = negative). Full range of the Elektron machines (+/-10V) can be used without limitation and the signals are passed through unaffected.
Most probably you can use the module any other gear equipped with those pesky TRS outputs with two CVs like Doepfer's MCV4 for instance.
