G-Storm Electro - 101-VCF (Black)
- Order number: 220533
- Depth: 22
The 101 VCF from G-Storm Electro is based on the design of the filter section of the Roland SH-101 and also offers some interesting options that you will search in vain for the original.
As with the original, you'll find spacious faders for operating this classic instrument, which is popular in all electronic music styles due to its versatile sound. To ensure that the fully analog circuitry of the 101-VCF is as close as possible to the original, it has been implemented using a rare OTA filter chip and features feedback bias and thermistor frequency stabilization. Analog to the original, the module has controls for cutoff and resonance to achieve the typical 101 filter sound. In addition, there are some options not available on the original. There are two audio inputs that can be tuned to each other via a mix pot, via the two CV-In sockets with attenuator potentiometers the filter frequency can be modulated with two polar/bipolar signals in the range from low Hz values up to the audio range. The 8HP module is handmade and with its 22mm depth designed to be skiff compatible.
