Transfer by Futureretro — Multimode Filter with 16 Flavors.
The Futureretro Transfer brings a whole smorgasbord of 16 analogue filter types to your rack in the space of just 12hp. It covers the essentials with four classic low-pass filters and then branches into 12 more “musical” and experimental filtering options. These range from unconventional band-pass to unusual notch and high pass filters. According to Futureretro — it should also have the sonic character of an “all-buttons-in 1176”. All the filters are grouped into four sets, easily selectable with its LED-lit buttons.
Big, knobs with ample spacing give you hands-on control over input drive, cutoff, and a resonance that is capable of reaching squelching self-oscillation when pushed. Each parameter comes with its own CV input + bi-polar attunverter. This module was designed alongside Futureretro’s TRAX! and Transient modules. Together they are meant to complement each other sonically as well as aesthetically — but obviously, Transfer works perfectly well together with whatever else you choose to pair it with!
