Endorphin.es - Two of Cups MIDI

The Two of Cups M is an updated take on Endorphin.es' compact dual-channel sample player — now with the SD card slot and MIDI input moved to the front panel. In just 6HP you get two independent voices, each capable of playing back samples with zero latency directly from the card. A completely rewritten SD card library means each voice now handles up to 32 samples, and sample length is essentially unlimited (files up to 4GB). Load your own vocals, drum hits, synth stabs, field recordings — whatever fits your workflow.

Each voice responds to triggers, 1V/oct pitch CV, and a dedicated sample CV input for scanning through your library. The MODE/BANK button cycles through five modes (where you change the selected parameter with the 1/2 voice knob): decay time (10ms to 10 seconds), volume, pitch offset across a +/-2 octave range, loop toggle, and sample selection. This updated M/MIDI version also adds a TRS MIDI input (supporting both Type A and B standards), so you can trigger samples from external gear or a DAW without eating up CV inputs. MIDI velocity can be routed to amplitude or sample selection.

You organize your samples across 8 banks, and the module ships with a curated library from artists including Nicolas Bougaïeff, Overmono, Julia Bondar, and Nero Bellum. Loading your own material is simple and straightforward. A practical, no-fuss sample player for percussion duties, vocal snippets, or any situation where you need reliable, immediate playback.
